Scatch!

iPod's scratch really easily, so try and buy a case for it, or pouch etc mine now has a huge scratch on the back, it ruins the style :(

Crash!

I recently found out that the iPod classic video 80gb can crash if you.....

-Don't eject it before disconnecting it
-Let the battery run dry
-Scroll through cover flow too quickly
-Turn off the iPod whilst a video is still playing

:)

iPod Touch

A new revolution to the media players, and its main feature, the touch screen!

It is available in 8gb and 16gb, so cant hold a lot of music compared to other iPods, but has Wi-Fi connectivity and can connect to Apples Safari to browse the internet
I'm not a big fan of the iPod Touch and I don't think i will buy one :(
Personally i think its a let down, due to its high price and little hard drive capacity

New iPod video

The newest iPod Classic, again re-defines the style and simplicity of the iPod

Thinner and slimmer than the iPod Video, brighter screen, longer battery life, and bigger scren, whist still being lighter.

It is available in 80gb (100 hours of video, 20000 songs) and 160gb (200 hours of video, 40000 songs)
It comes in black and silver and still presents the classic click wheel
I have recently purchased the Silver 80gb, and I find myself listening to it everywhere =D

New iPod Nano

The new iPod nano is a nifty little thing, with teh capability to hold photos, play videos and watch music

It comes in cyan, green, black, red and grey. With 4gb and 8gb avaiable to purchase
1000 songs / 4 hours video
2000 songs / 8 hours video and THOUSANDS of photos (if necessary :P)
I also loved the new nano, but at the time couldnt afford to buy one, I'm sure i will soon (fingers crossed)

New iPod Shuffle

The New iPod Shuffle was a new success, do to being the smallest iPod available to present

It could hold 512mb, 1gb or 2gb
(125, 250, 500 songs)

It was avaiable in 9 colours, so buyers could be picky and have an ipod in a bright colour

-Violet
-Cyan
-Red
-Teal
-Orange
-Blue
-Pink
-Green
-Silver

It also has a clip on the back so it can be attatched to your clothes etc so you are less likely to drop it.

I LOVED the new iPod Shuffle, and bought myself a 2gb version, but only uploaded my favourite songs, so I never had to skip a track :)

iPod Photo

Released before hte iPod nano, and iPod video the iPod Photo had a 30gb hardrive witha colour screen and able to store photos.
It wasnt a partiularly popular iPod, as people didnt see the need to hold jsut photos
I didnt personally like this iPod and never purcahsed one

iPod Video

The First iPod Video was available in white or black colours, and also available with a memory size of either 30gb or 60gb

This was equivalent to 30/60 hours of video or 7500/15000 songs

It was also capable of holding pictures and a slide show setting to display them. Album art could aslso be displayed as the songs were playing

iPod Nano

The iPod nano was revolutionary in its size, but still able to hold a reasonable amount of songs

-1gb
-2gb
-4gb
-8gb

This means it could hold 250, 500, 1000 or 2000 songs
Which is quite impressive for its size
I loved the nano, and purchased a Product(RED) Nano, but i was always afraid i would break it as it was so think :)

iPod Shuffle

First Generaton iPod Shuffle was also a new introduction to Mp3 players.
Available in 512mb and 1gb sizes, the ipod shuffle was a way of carrying a few select amount of songs, for short journeys or trips, with no need to change the song, and no click wheel or screen, so you didnt know what song you were choosing or listening to

I wasn't a big fan of the ipod shuffle as i like to choose what song im listening to, but it is the cheap alternative of other ipods

iPod Mini

The iPod mini changed the look of the ipod with its use of colours (silver, gold, pink, blue, green) and was now even smaller, so more portable than the 20gb ipod.

However it didnt offer a big hardrive
-4gb
-6gb
Holding 1000 songs or 1500 songs, this was still enough for some people, and it was still a great selling success

Apart from the hardrive size, the iPod mini was my personal favourite, however there will be more models out soon

iPod 20gb

The Classic iPod, when it first came out it was popular everywhere, with its huge 20gb hardrive, but still portable and you can carry your songs with you.
It's Stylish design pulled in thousands of people, and continues to do so
The Click Wheel was also a new feature to mp3 players, with its touch sensitivity and simplicity, the iPod made listening to music fun!
